Tiffany’s Bakery was featured on PHL17 Morning News covering our contribution to celebrating Jenna and Kelsey’s surprise bridal shower! Our team was trusted with the creative liberties of designing and baking a variety of cake pops, cakes, cupcakes and DOYOs for the event. We personalized a small cake for each bride (in their favorite flavors of course!) to honor them individually. Congratulations to Jenna and Kelsey from the Tiffany’s Bakery team!

Moms deserve the world – and dessert! That’s why you should treat your mom to something sweet from Tiffany’s Bakery this Mother’s Day.

• Peanuts are great for you. They’re loaded with vitamins and minerals like potassium, zinc, and iron, making them the Superfood of the legume world.
• There are more than 300 uses for peanuts. George Washington Carver developed over 300 uses for the peanut, and that doesn’t include peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! From animal feed to colorants, paper, and even face soap, Carver’s research introduced us to the many ways we can use the peanut.
• Elephants don’t actually enjoy peanuts. They prefer grasses, small plants, and a variety of fruits like bananas.

Ocktoberfest began as the celebration of the marriage between Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese on October 12, 1810 in Munich, Germany. The townspeople were invited to join in the celebration. They enjoyed it so much they requested the celebration to continue the following year. Today, Oktoberfest is the largest beer festival in the world celebrated from the middle of September to the beginning of October. A single wedding celebration turned into an 18-day festival celebrating the food and drink of Bavarian culture?!

Summer is the time for weddings, baby and bridal showers, birthday parties, and backyard barbecues. No matter where you're headed, there’s always room for a sweet treat. If you’re ordering an edible masterpiece for your get together, here are some tips and tricks to keep it in one piece during your travels.

Do's

• Do carry-out properly. Use both hands to transport the cake safely. Place both underneath the box or board supporting the cake to ensure the bottom doesn't cave in. Cake boxes aren't all that sturdy, so holding them at the sides isn't ideal (this can cause the box to rub against the icing and ruin the cake).
• Do take the cake to its destination – immediately! Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near any source of heat. If your event is outdoors, find a cool place inside to store the cake and bring it outside just before serving.
